Curriculum
ECOdove Learning Center curriculum is influenced by both the Montessori and Waldorf learning styles. We provide self-directed activities that encourage hands-on learning and collaborative play. Our activities are designed to inspire curiosity and engage all of your child's senses. Our monthly themes encourage further investigation and exploration. We enhance our curriculum through the use of natural elements and recycled materials. We also incorporate music and movement with music class and a yoga program.
The Farming Project
The Gardens
At ECOdove Learning Center we have two gardens. The first is our child directed garden. The children plan what they want to grow, physically plant and maintain their garden, harvest and then help turn their harvest into a meal to share. We also have a worm bin to turn our kitchen scraps into amazing soil.
Our second garden is a “”Kitchen Scrap” garden located indoors where we take vegetables that will re-grow and then replant them.
The Animals
In the future we hope to create a home for chickens, guinea pigs, bunnies and whoever else needs a good home. The children will be involved in feeding, cleaning and loving our animals.

Yoga
Every morning we will come together on our mats to wake up our bodies and set our intention for the day. This time and space gives the kids the opportunity to move their large motor muscles in a controlled way. It also focuses the class and gets them ready for a great day.
